Vivid Life Sciences CEO Josh Krenz spoke with Golf Course Industry about the importance of the 2019 Golf Industry Show to the company.
What does the Golf Industry Show mean for your company?
GIS is such a great way for us to showcase our continued support of the golf industry.
As our company continues to grow, the GIS has been an excellent time learn from the superintendents what their challenges are and to showcase how our existing and new technologies provides for solutions. This is always the highlight of our year to participate and show our support.
Where can superintendents find you in San Diego and what will be going on at the booth?
We are in booth #1814 on the tradeshow floor. Today, we are giving away a Yeti Cooler. In addition, we have information on the latest Vivid Life Sciences’ technologies, including low impact, organic and food-waste fertilizer products, plant growth promoters and biostimulants.
What do you want superintendents coming away thinking following a visit to your booth?
As superintendents stop by, we hope they will see the commitment Vivid Life Sciences has to the golf industry and making highly efficacious products that also have a lower impact on the environment at the same time. This includes the launch of new products this year at GIS like Lifeforce brand amino acids and fertilizer made from food waste.
How is Vivid Life Sciences helping superintendents handle the challenges they are facing following a tricky 2018 in many parts of the country?
Through new innovative technologies, like Vigeo plant growth promoter, we can help golf course manage their turf for quicker regrowth economically. We are also helping superintendents meet the growing demands for low impact pesticides. Our new organic herbicide, Prizefighter, is helping superintendents manage transition spaces and hardscapes.
What excites you about the golf market in 2019?
Golf is such a great community. We are excited to continue to learn from superintendents and develop new, low impact innovations for them.
