Turkey Creek Golf recently entered into a five-year contract with Davey Golf, a division of The Davey Tree Expert Company, to operate and maintain the Turkey Creek Golf and Country Club in Alachua, Florida.

Davey Golf will be responsible for the management and care of the 18-hole course and assumes operation of the clubhouse and golf shop.

“Davey is excited to begin our partnership with the residents of Turkey Creek,” Davey Golf business manager Zach Young said. “We understand that Turkey Creek is more than a place to play golf. It’s an extension of people’s homes and a reflection of the community. Davey is proud to bring its leadership to Turkey Creek and we look forward to enhancing the conditions and service standards at the course through our expert landscape management practices and exceptional client experience.”

Renovation is nearly complete on the par 72 course, featuring an expanded practice facility, opened in December 2019.

As part of the contract, Davey will provide all necessary equipment to maintain the course, including all mowers and trimmers, merchandise for the club shop and golf cart fleet.

Turkey Creek is a private neighborhood located about 12 miles from downtown Gainesville. The course is currently owned by the Turkey Creek Master Owners Association.
