Rochester Meat Hot Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • Olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 clove minced garlic

Instructions

  • Smoke at 375 for 35 minutes (flip halfway through).
  • Optional sprinkle with Traeger Chicken Rub.
  • Shake in sauce and return to smoker for 15 minutes.
