Jerky

ingredients

  • 2 pack of round roasts from Costco sliced
  • 2 cups Yoshida’s teriyaki
  • 1 cup warm water
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Minced onion
  • 4–6 tablespoons Cajun season

Instructions

  • Slice meat with the grain in ¼-inch slices.
  • Marinade for 12 to 24 hours.
  • Split the marinade and the 2 roasts in 2-gallon Ziploc bags and mix every few hours.
  • Smoke at 180° for 2 hours, turn over and baste with some of the saved marinade and smoke for another 1 to 1 1/2 hours and you’re done.
