The Georgia Golf Course Superintendents Association announced 11 recipients of the 2021 Legacy Scholarships. Scholarship committee leaders Joey Brown, Brandon Hayes and Patrick Reinhardt named winners of the scholarship that offers educational aid to children and grandchildren of Georgia GCSA members. The awards are funded by the Georgia GCSA and sponsored by Jerry Pate Company.

Brown, from Georgia National Golf Club, Hayes, from the Great Waters course at Reynolds Lake Oconee, and Reinhardt, from Georgia Southern University Golf Course, led the scholarship interviews with help from Jamie Pate of Jerry Pate Company, and Chuck Underwood, CGCS, a Georgia GCSA Past-President from Country Club of Roswell.
