AquaFuse names new sales, marketing director

36-year industry irrigation pro Dean Chaltas will handle all domestic and international sales and marketing.


AquaFuse by CMF Global, Inc., which specializes in high-density polyethylene (HDPE) high-performance proprietary piping systems that can improve golf course performance and water efficiency, recently added Dean Chaltas as its sales and marketing director.

Chaltas joins AquaFuse from The Toro Company, where he was a senior product marketing manager, helping to drive sales in the ag business. He previously worked at Toro as corporate accounts manager, golf sales manager and Western regional sales manager.

“We look forward to putting his 36 years of irrigation industry experience to good use serving our customers, helping them find appropriate, cost-effective, and innovative solutions to their challenges,” AquaFuse executive vice president Joseph Fernandez said. “He will also be a driving force behind some large AquaFuse initiatives, which will influence the brand to reach its full potential.”

Chaltas will oversee the company’s sales and marketing programs, developing and designing strategic sales objectives. He will also establish sales quotas, manage budgets and evaluate sales performance.

“It is impressive to see what the AquaFuse team has accomplished over the past two decades,” Chaltas said, who cited the company’s made-in-the-USA product portfolio, AquaFUSION training program and distribution network as strengths. “I am honored to join the team.”

Chaltas’s background includes golf course irrigation, agriculture irrigation, and residential and commercial irrigation, as well as retail, wholesale distribution and manufacturing among other areas.
