Simplot Partners expands operations

Simplot Partners has announced the opening of a new retail location in Oklahoma City, Okla. 

The new location, which opened Oct. 27 at 5201 Reno Ave., will support growing markets in Oklahoma and Kansas.

From its base in the western United States, this expansion is an opportunity for Simplot Partners to expand its footprint.

“Our strategy is to look for opportunities to grow, and we found one in Oklahoma City,” said Garrett Lofto, president of the J. R. Simplot Company’s AgriBusiness Group. “The location matches our business very well, as we focus on customer value through high-quality products and unparalleled service.” 

Industry sales veterans Kevin Hays, Dwight Abbey, Ken Carlton and Mike Halvorson have joined Simplot Partners to support the Oklahoma expansion. 

Simplot Partners is an industry leader supplying the golf, lawn care, sports turf and municipal market segments. The Oklahoma and Kansas region is known for high-quality golf courses which fits well with the company's proven line of proprietary turf products including Forte’, a soil wetting agent, Rapture micronutrient mix, and many other turf products designed for western and southwestern soils. 

The Oklahoma City location will also handle BEST branded fertilizer manufactured by Simplot Partners including controlled release Gal-Xe ONE polymer coated technology.
