Partnership provides money for irrigation pros to attend WaterSmart conference.

| August 3, 2012

Ewing Irrigation and Hunter Industries have again partnered to offer scholarships to irrigation and water utility professionals to attend the fifth annual WaterSmart Innovations (WSI) conference and exhibition from October 3-5 in Las Vegas.

Presented by the Southern Nevada Water Authority, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s WaterSense Program and other public and private organizations, WaterSmart Innovations is the world’s largest conference dedicated to urban water efficiency. The conference will be held at the South Point Hotel and Conference Center.

Scholarships of up to $350 are available to qualified professionals through August 31.

“We realize budgets are tight and that out-of-state travel can be difficult, so we’re hopeful that by paying for registration we’ll provide industry professionals with an opportunity to attend,” said Warren Gorowitz, vice president of conservation and sustainability for Ewing.

Applicants can complete the online form available at http://bit.ly/OVs9Dz, or download and complete the fillable PDF at http://bit.ly/Nt7qrI. Scholarship funds are limited, so apply as soon as possible.
