Proceeds benefit Sticks for Kids.

| July 23, 2012

The Golf Course Builders Association of America Foundation announces an online auction running July 23, 2012 through August 16, 2012 to benefit their junior golf initiative, Sticks for Kids.

The Bidding For Good web-based auction platform will support this year’s annual GCBAA Foundation Summer Auction.  This auction has traditionally been held live during the GCBAA’s Summer Meeting. The online platform is expected to streamline the auction process for both the Foundation and the loyal supporters of the organization.

All proceeds from the auction will benefit the GCBAA Foundation’s Sticks for Kids Program. The program launched in 1997 and has served 190,000 youth with golf instruction and life skills training related to integrity, discipline, etiquette, and environmental stewardship since partnership with National Recreation and Park Association began in 1997. Additionally, the Foundation has supported 175 university students since 2007 with scholarship and support into the golf industry.

So, if you’ve ever wanted to a round at Bandon Dunes, or have autographed golf memorabilia for your office from golf’s greatest players like Arnold Palmer, Ben Crenshaw, or Phil Mickelson, this is your opportunity. While auction bidders benefit from winning a great item, kids across the Unites States benefit from additional resources for learning the great game of golf and our industry benefits with growth of the game.

Please register to bid and follow the auction at www.biddingforgood.com/GCBAA
