GCBAA elects officers

The 2010 Golf Industry Show in San Diego, Calif., served as the backdrop for the Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA) 2010 Winter Board Meeting held in February.

GCBAA Directors elected the following officers to two-year terms: President Elect: Kurt Huseman, Landscapes Unlimited; Vice President: Mick Jones, The Toro Co.; Secretary: Ellen Davis, Waupaca Sand & Solutions, SportZmix Solutions; Treasurer: Rick Boylan, Mid-America Golf & Landscape; Residing President Dave Munkvold of Duininck Golf and Immediate Past President Bob Pinson of Course Crafters will also serve on the board.

These officers will preside over the GCBAA board of directors. The board consists of the officers and 17 directors: Jeff Bine, Hunter Industries; Bob Bryant, Bryant Taylor Gordon Golf; Steve Christman, Eagle Golf & Landscape Products; Mike Crone, Landirr, Inc; Ron Freund, Genesis Golf Builders, Inc.; Patrick Karnick, Wadsworth Golf Construction Company; Ed Kruse, John Deere Golf; Doug Long, Heritage Links; John McDonald II, McDonald & Sons, Inc.;  Oscar Rodriguez, Weitz Golf International; Michelle Tanzer, Holland & Knight; Scott Veazey, Southeastern Golf, Inc.; Dennis Wagner, Ewing Irrigation; Steve Young, Peat Inc.;  and Stephanie Zimmerman, ADS/Hancor.
