The Primera board of directors announce that Keelan Pulliam has been appointed interim CEO of Primera. Pulliam has been associated with Primera for over two years and has been working on special projects for the cooperative. Pulliam led the membership drive as directed by the board and produced an impressive number of new member-owners in the last two years increasing membership-owners by 20 percent. 
 
In addition to his successful association with Primera, Pulliam brings a wealth of industry experience to the Primera team. Pulliam’s long and impactful career in the professional products industry includes 33 years at Syngenta in a variety of leadership roles, including head of turf and ornamentals and group head of professional products. He was president of the Fafard growing media business and ended his Syngenta career as president of Flowers North America. He served on the RISE Board and was chairman from 1999 through 2001. He currently serves on the board of Directors of viakem, S.A. de C.V. a global custom and toll manufacturer of active ingredients for the agricultural industry with headquarters in Mexico. He is the owner and president of Pulliam and Associates Consulting, LLC. Pulliam earned his B.S. in agronomy and his M.S. in agriculture economics from the University of Kentucky. 
 
Pulliam joins Primera immediately in a full-time capacity while the board conducts its search for a permanent CEO.
