Troon has been selected to manage Persimmon Country Club, a private club located just east of Portland in Gresham, Oregon. Located in the shadows of Mount Hood, Mount St. Helens and Mount Adams, Persimmon Country Club will be managed by Troon Privé, the private club operating division of Troon.

Persimmon Country Club’s 18-hole, par 71 golf course opened for play in 1992 and was designed by Gene “Bunny” Mason, who is credited for designing numerous courses in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest throughout the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s. The course is situated in a protective mountain bowl, surrounded by tall pine trees with numerous wetlands, lakes and creeks throughout the beautiful property.

“Persimmon is blessed with a beautiful location, a great golf course and wonderful amenities,” said Bill O’Brien, vice president, Troon Privé. “The Troon Privé team looks forward to working with this outstanding club.”

"Permission Country Club is excited to leverage Troon’s extensive resources to further the success of the club and enhance the member experience,” said Mark Swift, general manager, Persimmon Country Club.
